The school's own news pages report its pupils, in a younger and an older group, at the Wrocław school chess championship in the Centennial Hall on 24 November, and a pupil's second place at the 12th FORSzachMATY tournament at the Formaty club on 6 December; an earlier post reports the school's first-ever team at the city championship. The tournament records on ChessArbiter list the SP 43 team at the city championships of 19 November 2024 and 24 November 2025 at the Congress Centre by the Centennial Hall, and date the 12th FORSzachMATY to 6 December 2024. The school's list of extra classes for the current school year, which prints no year, has a chess circle on Mondays 13:50-14:35.
