Chess teaching in Wrocław is spread between clubs, small chess schools and culture centres. Polonia publishes a weekday timetable of group classes on ul. Piaskowa; Hetman, MUKS MDK Śródmieście, AZS Wratislavia and Kopernik hold regular club classes; and Kraina Szachów in Gaj teaches groups from the age of five and visits kindergartens. Akademia Młodego Szachisty and Szkoła Szachowa Młody Szachmistrz run tournaments for their pupils, and a private coach organises category weekends.
Culture centres add their own: the Zamek centre on plac Świętojański runs two Wednesday groups and the Wojszyce community centre weekly classes for children. The Lower Silesian association runs courses for district-class arbiters, and in Święta Katarzyna the Tęcza club hosts Wednesday classes.
