Rapid tournaments 21

Rapid is the everyday pace of Wrocław tournaments. The Friday Grand Prix at Polonia is played at rapid time controls, the Otwarte Mistrzostwa Wrocławia and the youth OMW series run in rapid rounds, and AZS Wratislavia plays its season series and its over-fifties chessboard meetings at a quick pace. Hetman’s category race, the Ekocentrum Chess Tandem for pairs and the Grand Prix for the Politechnika rector’s cup belong here as well.

School chess is mostly rapid: the city and Lower Silesian finals of the school games and the school games of Oława. The inter-university league, the national team championships for players with disabilities, the Długołęka commune open and the Trzebnica bank cup complete the list.
